Wi-Fi NOW 2017 Conference Recap
Last week, we sent a team to the Wi-Fi NOW 2017 seminar in Washington D.C. where our VP of Partnerships, Ryan Freeman devoted a talk on how IT service providers can differentiate their product offering and access new budgets with Wi-Fi marketing.
Ryan took the stage on day one and discussed how Wi-Fi marketing offers a style for IT providers to recognise their offering from challengers, without eating into their margins. He exhorts IT providers to step outside their comfort zone of exclusively selling a largely technical product to merely the technological purchasers. Acknowledging he’s not the first person to ring the alarm bell around decentralized IT buying, he provides some reasons as to why Turnstyle simplifies the selling process to less-technical buyers.
Wi-Fi is the perfect technology to avoid this issue because it’s 😛 TAGEND End-customer facing: it has the ability to affect the customer experience it has the ability to affect the customer experience Ubiquitous: both smartphones and networks are nearly everywhere both smartphones and networks are nearly everywhere Passive: the radio/ beacon communication is regular and frequent the radio/ beacon communication is regular and frequent Goldilocks Location Precision: it is accurate enough to be valuable it is accurate enough to be valuable Opt-in Driven: end-user onboarding requires an active opt-in
